The houses of Peter Rabbitâ„¢, Mrs. Tiggy Winkleâ„¢, Mrs. Tittlemouseâ„¢ and Jemima Puddleduckâ„¢ will enhance the festival experience for young visitors and their families. The four Flower Houses of Peter Rabbit'sâ„¢ Flower Village will capture the imagination of children of all ages. Named for each of four Beatrix Potterâ„¢ stories depicted, the thatched-roof, English-cottage Flower Houses will invite children to explore inside, where they will find components that help to depict the story's theme, and encourage them to exercise imagination and a sense of fun. The Flower Village and story themes will advocate the cause of literacy by helping to foster a love of reading and by encouraging young children and their families to read together. A Summer Oasis... The Arboretum is in full summer bloom May through July with bursts of color and lush tropical foliage. Peter Rabbit'sâ„¢ Flower Village located under a canopy of shaded Pecan trees creates a serene photo opportunity and place to picnic in the shade. The Palmer Fern Dell misting system will cool you off while you enjoy a leisurely stroll. The original Broadway production of Dreamgirls opened December 20, 1981 at the Imperial Theatre and won six 1982 Tony Awards. Dreamgirls closed on Broadway August 11, 1985, after 1,522 performances. Dreamgirls features music by Academy Award nominee Henry Krieger and book and lyrics by Tony and Grammy-Award winner Tom Eyen. The original Broadway production was directed by Michael Bennett and choreographed by Bennett and Michael Peters.
