That underutilized room in your house offers so many possibilities, from a personal bar, to a home theater, or how about fodder for an excited conversation about what you're planning on doing with that underutilized room, as soon as you leave this bar/finish watching this movie. Now open and making the most of an upstairs space, Eno's Pub, open Thursday. Oak Cliff gets a sudsy upper deck known as Eno's at 407 N Bishop Ave; Bishop Arts District; 214.943.9200 just a couple of minutes from downtown Dallas.

Accessible via its own shotgun staircase entrance, the Pub's a 2nd-story expansion on Eno's Pizza Tavern, just happens to be the product of a months-long renovation that juxtaposes the building's 1920s heritage (tiny hexagonal tiling around the bar, exposed whitewashed rafters...) with modern touches like paned glass walls, tables crafted from reclaimed patio deck wood, and a bartop cobbled together from shipping pallets -- ironic, since once seated at it, you will never move.

Did we mention all the 22 seasonal taps will mirror the downstairs (Left Hand Milk Stout, Racer #5, Full Moon Rye...), but there'll also be 20 Belgian-inspired bottles, with opening day featuring Dogfish 120min, Allagash Grand Cru, and the Brooklyn Local series; mo' booze includes Texas/Cali/Oregon wines, TBD signature cocktails made with local fruits & small-batch liquors (Aviation gin, Square One vodka, Treaty Oak rum), and Sat-Sun Bloody Marys with pickled veggies from Community Gardens of Oak Cliff, who're happy to help you spend weekends not-gardening. Beer snobs are us!

The to-come separate food menu will run from organic beef tartare, to artisan variations on the Tavern's pizzas, to ground-floor standbys like the grass-fed beef "Little Eno's Meatball" pasta and their chicken salad sandwich, known as the Pantry Pubboy -- because there's nothing tastier than a boy you picked up in a pub who you now store in your pantry.

For entertainment beyond just sitting there drinking, the Pub's rear boasts two separate darts cubbies, one of which also hosts a 60s-era foosball table, just like the one you'd put in your game room, if places like this didn't make all that work seem so unnecessary.
